How To Sanitize Your Toothbrush

toothbrushAre you dental freak like me that likes to keep my mouth fresh? Well, if you change your toothbrush every three months, I think that is not enough. Not only the bristles get worn out, our toothbrush lose their rigidity that doesn't remove plaque.

What we should do is to do some maintenance with our toothbrush since there are germs and bacteria that loves to attach to our moist toothbrush. Reader's Digest suggests that to prevent colds, flu and other sickness, it is recommended to put our toothbrush in the microwave once or twice a week for 10 seconds before brushing. If someone is sick in your home, it is recommended to microwave our toothbrush before brushing.

I think this is a great idea since dental care is very important.
