Back Up Your Blogs

Back Up Your BlogsHave you experienced data loss or your computer just crashed? This is just normal and this will definitely happen to us to the least expected time. Because of that, we have to be prepared and anticipate the worst.

If you are a blogger, you have to assume the worst as well. You have to know that there are hackers that can get through your account and delete your posts. They can even change your settings and HTML templates.

If you are a Blogger user, I have recently noticed that there’s already an Export blog feature available in the Settings Dashboard. This export blog feature saves your current posts as well as the comments. This export file is in XML format by the way. Aside from the posts and comments, you can also back up your current blog template. To do so, just go to the Layout Dashboard then click the Edit HML link. There is a link there wherein you can save your current template. Voila!

I was inspired to write this post by the way when I read from Eric’s blog that his wife’s blog has been hacked. Thank God it was fixed already.

If you like this post, buy me a cup of coffee.
