Censorship in Project Wonderful

Censorship in Project WonderfulEarly this morning, I received a notification email from Project Wonderful telling me that all of my ad widgets have been suspended by them. They haven't indicated the reason but instead they told me to visit their Terms Of Service (TOS) page.

From the fast glance of the page, I have read about the adult content restriction. Yesterday, I have posted in all of my blogs the latest March cover girls of all the men's magazine in the Philippines. I thought that is the reason why. But that is a regular thing in my blog. Why do they have to suspend now?

After lunch, I have decided to send them an email. This late night, I received a reply from them. According to the them, the reason why my ad widgets were suspended was because I do paid reviews and I have pop up text advertising. I was honestly ticked off by this. I replied to them, haven't your company realized that you are going to lose customers because of this restriction? Most of the blogs do paid reviews. And as if they are not earning from the Project Wonderful publishers.

My solution to this for the moment is to have a manual ad placement. I hope the OIO publisher will have a Blogger version since it is only for Wordpress platform. It's just a bum that my Project Wonderful ads are gone. Darn, I do earn a lot from it. Anyone knows a substitute for Project Wonderful and OIO? I would appreciate it a lot to hear from you.

If you like this post, buy me a cup of coffee.

Aw! is that so? I wanted to join Project Wonderful a long time ago, but the people I've asked weren't replying to me. I guess I've asked the wrong people..

Anyway, that's really a bummer. I also have a few paid posts on my blog. So I guess I couldn't join then.

That's what excruciating on some "affiliate programs".. after they have earned from clicks on your site, they will just suspend or ban you. grrrrrrr!
