New Stop Sign Technology in Japan

I saw these pictures on a blog this week. Apparently in Japan, they are now using this hi-tech stop sign. Aren't this cool? I hope that we can have it here in Singapore and in the Philippines.

Yes, that would be cool in Singapore! Crossing the road at traffic junction might be more fun. :)

there is a shopping mall here that has the parking sign like if the parking space is available it will be green. If its not it will be red.

each parking space has a light on top!

The fifth to digg this article over here: http://digg.com/world_news/New_Stop_Sign_Technology_in_Japan Left a message there as well, "wow! that is very good work from Japs to attach the psychology of drivers."

I think this new stop sign or tactic is very effective. the drivers would they'd really bump into pedestrians if they move... Another great Japanese idea.

Japan has always unique and weird way of thinking but this always attract the rest of the world. That is why this country is one that I admire the most among the rest. They can make it through the crowds... to stand up good!

Japanese technology is always in advance pace. No wonder the country's patent office is a partner of the biggest patent offices in the world - European and American -. Japan is simply amazing and admirable. I dunno where the inventors and people there take their very unique (up to the point of being weird at times) ideas.

Remember the second world war when Japanese products and technologies were banned because of their participation in the war? Now look at the country how they stand up high and survive that bitter fate. Now the country is a big leader both in economy and technology... why can't we Filipinos follow after the steps the Japs had take`???
