How To Remove Track Changes, Markups and Comments in Microsoft Word

This was my dilemma today, I have this Word document which was modified by other people before. With the changes made by other people and me, all the changes and markups are showing unless I select to show the Final markup.

The problem is that if you want to send it to let say your boss, your boss will see the markups as well. To totally remove all the markups, what you have to do is to select Inspect Document from Office Button - Prepare.

How To Remove Track Changes, Markups and Comments in Microsoft Word

Leave the all the checked items then click Inspect button.

The next page will show you how many annotations your document has. From the summary, click all those you want to delete then close the window. Save your file and your recipient won't see any markups anymore.
